Working Again and ENGAGED! to be married....

So first things first, IM ENGAGED!! Handsome Gentleman Friend is Handsome Gentleman Fiancee! We went to our favorite place Elevation 66, to try their new menu, and he totally surprised me on my way to the bathroom ;3 lol!! The ring is titanium and redwood, cause im a california girl, and on the inside it says "Remember, I love you!!" Because hes a big sweet sexy enchilada (so spicy and cheesy). The food was also awesome, I had morraccan chicken over roasted vegis, and holy COW. HGF had smoked gouda mac n cheese and of course there were delightful beers and after the proposal the waitress brought us champagne. Desert was ice cream with stout brownie and salted caramel, and of course tears of joy because I SAID YES but I think you figured that out. Now I have to plan not one, but two weddings because really all my people are here, and all his people are in Utah and what ever we just wanna party and eat nachos and get drunk. Yes, I want a nacho bar for my wedding. Your Welcome.

Next up, I have a job!! Im working for a company who does gift shops for special events, aquariums, zoos, and attractions, My position? Sales lead for the Hunger Games Exhibition!! Now when I started i knew NOTHING about the HG but now I do. its pretty cool, A bunch of origional costumes, interactive displays, plus all the butter cup plushies you can stand. Also my boss is awesome and the company seems super cool. Makes corporate petshop and corporate retail seems like...slave labor,

Birthday Joy and San Mateo County Fair!

So Alaska pictures are still being processed...ya Im slow.This week has been insane..I though summer was supposed to slow down, be easy and fun...So before all the joy, heres some angry rant.

Upon my return i learned my horrible job and my horrible union were locked in a pissing match of Jean Claude proportions. so first we were gunna have a vote on strike, which ment the managers ran around like idiots harrassing everyone. We got letters from the GM of both buildings saying he would fire us, and essentially kill our families and piss on our ashes (in a corporate way). then my manager made sure to max out my time off pay while i was gone so now i have none... even though i planned it so i would save some. This also ment my next paycheck was... $71. uuugghhh.... Anywho then another creepy ass manager from a lower floor took pictures of my with his phone in the LOCKER ROOM. There were like 30 people there but now their all saying they didnt see it even though we all did. I decided I was going to over react and fight this as sexual harrasment... but now i have had panic attacks at work and am thinking.. Im not over reacting, apparently this is really freaking me out. I had to leave work yesterday (not making for good paychecks...) and am job hunting as we speak. (what if your manager reads this? wont you be fired? if anyone is really reading this... HEY VANN AND TIM, GO FUCK YOURSELVES YOU PERVERTED ASS HATS.)

Can I say Handsome Gentleman Friend has been absolutly amazing through all of this. Thank you handsome :3

OK! Onto the JOY!! It was my birthday on the 8th!! I turned 29 years old.. for realsies! not a fake! a true 85 baby. Anywho, Flea and Tess and Husband and Tess' man all came down and we had an awesome time! We met at Steve's, and fun fact, Tess hadnt eaten and was grumpy and late... But oh well. We awaited Flea and Ryans arrival. eventually we headed to Cafe Avalino's, one of my favorites (but the owners sold.. Pizza's still good but Im scared!) After Avalinos we all headed to Pacifica for Tacobell. For those who dont know, Pacifica is a little seaside town just past San Francisco, and the tacobell backs up to a gorgiose white sand beach. Therefore its heaven, correct?

Tess and Chris split, so Flea Ryan Handsome and I all headed to Rogue! As a Rogue member I have been promised a TShirt, and free pint for my bday. Of course they dont do that anymore.... but they do offer a LITER of beer in exchange... (I kinda wanted a tshirt :/) but the Chocolate Porter is AMAAAAAZING. We also had Marionberry Mead, some samplers, Potato Nacho's (crisscut fries covered in yummyness), a hummus platter and all kinds of yum. We also headed to gelato after with Flea and I kiiiiinda drunk. All in all a great time

Then on Saturday, my cousin Jeff came home from the airforce!! :D just for a short leave, but yaaaay! so to have family birthday and celebrate Jess we headed to the Nantucket, which i havnt been to in yeeeaaarrss... BTW the food is AWESOME.

Oregon- Part 2

Hello again all!! So this last week has been REALLY rough.. so Im going to skip that and go strait to the Oregon Trip!! :3 After a delightful time with Heather and Cesar, we headed off to the coast!! We drove along, taking the scenic route, when out of no where through the tree's, were airplanes!! And what was possibly a space ship! Of course we pulled over and discovered an air and space museum, and what i thought was a space ship is the Spuce Goose!! Look it up.. fascinating :3

Theres also a water park with slides that come out of a plane...

After we left there we got some lunch at a pretty wonderful little pizza parlor!

From there, we kept heading to the coast. Beautiful views and perfect tempetures. as we came to Newport we came across Rougue Brewery. This is some of my favorite beer ever, really!! Handsome Gentleman Friend got a case of wonderful beverages and kept heading toward Reedsport. 

The Sealion caves distacted us on our journey. Its one of the worlds largest underground seacaves (as opposed to above ground?) anyways, the sealions were not there that day, so we got a HUGE discount, and the caves were so beautiful.

Finally we arrived in Reedsport. We stayed in Winchester bay, a crazy tiny little redneck town. We met up with GF's friend "Chick N Wing", who's dad brought a sandrail and some quads to play int he sand dunes. We checked out our cabin which was so adorable and cozy. We both slept REALLY well that night.. Really we slept good the whole trip! Lucky us! 

 The next day we got up late and wondered around. Chicken wanted to meet us for lunch but the GPS's took us like 20 miles out of the way (Google you failed 3 times... 3!!!) but we finally made it to the resterant, a good little seafood place called Griff's. We got an Ahi Tuna and a Pawn and Fish and Chips meal. It was sooooooo good!! All of it! The fish is so fresh, cought right in the bay.

Next we headed out, where Chick and her family had rented crab traps! We spent a few hours crabbing, which includes tying down fish entrails, tossing the trap in, then pulling it back every 10 minutes. This time we didnt catch anything but it was super fun!!

For dinner I made us some hobo dinners, aka pocket stew. Basically is hamburger, potato, onion and carrots all chopped, sprinkled with lemon pepper and cooked until done. We enjoyed our meal with some Rogue ale. I think we had the mocha porter that night but I really dont remember. But we DID freeze our Rogue mugs and felt all fancy :3

Tuesday we got up earlier and walked around in the beautiful fog. It was like 66 the whole time we were there. We went out crabbing a little and actually cought some! Sadly they were way to small and had to be thrown back. We took it pretty easy this day and after dinner Cesar and Heather drove out and met us! Also, I saw a Harbor seal!! He was stealing crab bait out of traps, which I loved!!

With Cesar and heather we made a HUGE feast!! Since we were having trouble catching crabs we bought some, which were increadibly cheap since they catch them there. We also got Salt water oysters, prawns and salmon. Amazing!!

After Heather and Cesar headed out we went for a walk on the dunes. So beautiful! There are parts for the ATV's and parts just for walking, so we didnt get murdered.
