Its been a while

Well, Steve and I got married almost two years ago now! It's been fun, the wedding was awesome and full of drama (not on my part this time!)

I've been using my time since to try and launch my business with the Illustration, doing shows with the amazing and talented Katie, selling online and currently helping out with a fellow Etsy shop owner running a laser cutter!

Since I posted we've been to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mexico 2x, Iceland and Japan! Hot damn!

Cooper Gerbil Sidekick has passed over the rainbow bridge, as have Tamale and Fajita. I also had a super sweet blazed girl named Nacho who departed, but still have the naked Chalupa, Torta and Quest the rex. Sweet sweet girls! Pickles and Castor Troy Nicoli Tesla are doing well, being jerks and what not. The garden got severely neglected, but I have been resurrecting it recently and Bam! More spider plants then ever! I nearly lost the fern but have some shoots, lost the wondering Jew, but I had given cuttings to Teri and Don, who gave Cuttings to mom, who gave me new cuttings! Jen's plant lives!!! Joann's beasts are still going strong.

I'm actually happy :3 like for realsies. It's kinda nice. I need to post more happy shit!

Untidy Mobil Update

Hey all! It's a late night, Izzy can't sleep update from the iPhone! So what's new in the land of nuttiness? Well the ever wonderful Gentleman Friend took me to see the Ace man himself!!! Adam Carolla!!! I know many people don't like the man show guy but I'm a huge fan!!! And gf got us front row center table seats at Cobbs!! We were right at sac level! Lol! Ill go into more detail soon with pictures but it was amazing, I'm a very lucky girl.

Also in the news, we helped clean some of Joann's things out for Terri. I ended up with the four 30 year old spiders plants from her sons funeral. Their beautiful and enormous!!! I also was left a little tv, and an iMac g5 I'm going to try and sell to help pay for a desktop for school!! Woot!!!

A lot has been going on, ill try and keep up :3

Work, School and Work

So we are moving into midterms, so I asked my lovely manager to lessen my hours, so I can study and work on projects. Of course he doubled my hours and I work 6 days out of 7. If this keeps up I may have to quit, which I dont want to but school is WAY more important. Schools going, as usual, my digital media teacher isnt a fan of my idea's, this seems to be the thing. but I usually pull it off. It started raining this week, and was beautiful!! I love the rain, even if I have to wonder through it between buildings. The garden is looking awesome for fall! Spider plants are going crazy this year, and Im glad, their one of my favorites

Went to the hardware and garden store with the Aunties, and of course fell in love with a christmas dino display! :D Afterwards I hung out with them, as it was my only day off, and got the CAR ALARM INSTALLED!! Yay!! So I had a deal with the alarm guy to do a mural in exchange for the alarm, but he ended up having someone else do the mural cheaper? So I am going to do some ads for him I guess. Weird clients. but the Darlene is safe!! 

 In honor of the rain, I made lentil soup! :) So yummy!!! I have been ,unching on it all week for lunches and dinner.

Great Weekend, Great Fall

So this weekend was epicaly amazing. I will go into more detail tomorrow when I have more time, (today just got a break between class and work :) ) But basically Gentleman Friend and I visited the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin and Art Festival, Worlds Largest Corn Maze, and Karaoke!! Then Football, and my best moment ever...

Ya, I fell down GF's stairs. Had to skip work, and have a 6 inch by 6 inch bruise on my rear, but no permanent damage :) GF was really sweet and took great care of me. So strange to see him all worried!

My Garden is looking fantastic for it being fall. And for being a container garden :) So here are some shots of it to tease you with. Tomorrow I'll get all into our adventure!!

Adventure time!

So my lovely Gentleman Friend once again is spoiling the CRAP out of me :) Tomorrow night we're heading to the Excelsior in Monterey with his best friend and wife. Friends wife, not GF's. .. .. . . Not repeating bad history.. Anywho! After that back to the bay, then up to Sonoma where the GF will use his wonderful business cards to get us drunk for freeeeeeeeee!! Oh ya ;) Im quite smitten. And he's good looking to boot... RRRrrr ;) Cats are already suspicious

ANYWAY.... Job is well, got the weekend off which is FAB. I guess the joy of part time. Gatta work my BDay but so is life. Got the Sat after off so party time with GF

Tomatoes are started! got some flowers so a good sign! Update on the house plants, Aloe Vera Wang is fab, needs a new pot because she's way outgrown this one. The spidies are all goin crazy in this weather and the wondering jew is the brightest Ive ever seen it! The hen and chicks is doing well also. and the one that was a gift from my neighbor is flowering!! :D The African Violet 2 got a little dry but i think will be ok

Fire on the West Side

Yesterday I should have covered this. Ont he west side of town there was a huge fire in a very old school due to the lightning. The storm was really beautiful, I was up at 5:30 am to get ready for work and watched it for an hour. Im weird.

I am about to become a full blown Michigan resident!! I signed up for my Michigan drivers licence! And its special so I can go to Canada. Im gunna to out of country!!!! two weeks. gatta wait two weeks....

Also, no pictures (Sad face) but I got two new little hermit crabs. I think Herman might have passed on T_T but   have this fantastic set up so why waste it. I hope to fill it with crabbies again one day. I also picked Cooper up a chewy house, one he can eat and- he hates it. of course. Why would he want a $6 house when he can eat toilet paper tubes? Gerbils...

I repotted the plants in between jobs. Everyone got a new pot, even the spider plants, which means I wont have babies for about a year, but they will live longer. Got some good deals at WalMart on pots, colorful self wattering pots for $1 each, but the service was terrible. I wondered around for 45 minutes looking for potting soil in something other then 5 cup bags, and everyone I asked pointed outside. I kept looking but it wasnt there. Finally I left in a huff and a sweet gal said she found it outside in the parking lot. Thats nice, but I already had everything else, like i could just leave, right? So I went over to target and got a big bag of Miracle Grow self feeding. Yay for me getting to be lazy!
