My goodness the year had gone by quick. This has been one hell of a year too. OMG has it been. 2.5 weeks of school left, just a few short weeks before Christmas and New Years and my loooong winters break, where I shall be bored and broke out of my mind. Maybe I can pick up a side job. Who knows. I hope all is going well for you reading this too.
The pets are good, I still owe a long over due picture update of everyone and the house. :) Also will have to update with school projects of the not just media type ;)
Ok back to homework!

Happy Thanksgiving!
For your enjoyment, my family dressing recipe, because "stuffing is evil"- Alton Brown.
Turkey and Turkey Dressing from Gram Freitas, Bon Appetit, Dorothy Hare 1959 dressing recipe and Nancy Freitas Fischer.
Turkey Dressing:
Make a recipe of cornbread the day ahead of time. I use jiffy package – quick and easy.
Boil the giblets, neck and whatever organs you want in water to equal cups of broth (or you can use stock .. like TJ chicken stock in a box)
Break up the corn bread and mix into the dry bread cubes
Beat the eggs, melt the butter, chop the veggies and olives
For a 10 – 12 # turkey use 1 qt dry bread cubes
Add 3 beaten eggs
1 C chopped onion
¼ c melted butter
2 cups buttermilk
Add ¼ teaspoon pepper
1 ½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
½ Sage (3 X more if using fresh)
Add 1 ½ cups of broth * (when mixed the dressing should be moist, if not add more broth or buttermilk)
½ - 1 cup of diced celery
1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
sliced olives
Bake in a sprayed casserole ~ 30 minutes until internal temp 165 degrees. Check to be sure at 15 minutes that it’s not too dry.
Shortcut: Stovetop cornbread stuffing mix. Saute the onion mushrooms and celery. Usually you don’t have to add seasoning, but taste it.

Aloha!
A little homage to Ansel Adams and his Studebaker. My colorize a photo project. Trying to figure out holiday things while staying on top of homework. Started carving a character head, a zombie dog that haunts my dreams in time of stress. Also have a still life with my unicorn, Gary.
Im fighting a cold, its that time of year. Its trying to get into my lungs which scares me immensly. Arg!!!
Got some new and trandy things shopping with Fashion Rachel and Brandi. It was tons of fun! Look at me, turning into a girl. Last week also I went to visit Tim at his art show!! Yay! Its still up at the Blue Cue, so go and see the spatter paintings. We also walked around, ate hot wings and bought adorable chinese toys and got thrown out of Level Up by Dann-o! Oh SacTown.

What are you up to?
school. its drowning me. As it should, as its supposed to. Flipped my lid over a self portrait. Sorry updates have been so spotty, my source of interwebs (corporate coffee shop) is under renovation. This needs to be fixed as I need me some podcasts!!! lol.
Just a few more weeks untill the semester is out! I need to kick it up a notch and get some good work done. I dont want to get nothing out of this semester :( Sometimes I just feel like a total failier.
Bob Ross is colored.
Also, rememberance of summer 2010
