FOOD! PICTURES! And Other Amazing things part 2

Thank for staying tuned!! I decided to break up the joy of this amazing weekend since there so picture heavy. So for Sunday I was supposed to work but decided to go to Gentleman Friends Co-workers picnic instead. SOOOO GLAD I DID!!! They made short ribs, sushi bake, watermelon, fried chicken, low mien, and so much more! I spent another day eating myself silly. The BBQ was out in San Mateo at a lovely park on the water. the wind was up and a little crazy, and I was dressed in full work gear of skirt, blazer and tights, but so much fun was had. Families brought their kids who were soooooooo cute!! The water was great, and even with the wind the weather was warm. GF's co workers were lovely and their spouses were as well. Another great day!! Oh ya, after we went and watched the Olympics. Gowd I miss TV.

So Monday the greatness continued, GF had tickets to the Giants/Mets game. We met up after he got off work and I was out of class (finished half my final!!! :D ) For dinner we went to the American Grill for the first time. it was pricier then the Melt but REALLY good Grilled Cheese! Plus the atmosphere was delightful.  the only off putting thing about it was one of the servers looked like my ex.... creepy....

Gentleman Friend and his tallness

Then we headed to the Giants game and had GREAT seats. The game was slow (even for baseball). about half way through the game we got a little peckish and split a Bacon Wrapped Hotdog. It was delightful. They had run out of onions and jalapenos for it but it came smothered in chipotle mayo and was still good. Just an FYI though the Bacon Dog at the Blues Fest was better. So when in Giants Stadium save the $8.

Today was dance with Patsy which I love. After a quick lunch at the lovely Cafe Esmeralda, I headed to the Aunts house and took some pictures of their AMAZING garden. One day I'll have a garden like this. Also they gave me tons of home grown apples from their tree, plums from their tree, and more blackberries then I have consumed in the last 3 years combined.

and a cool car at local coffee shop when I pulled in

PS local coffee shop is amazing. They gave me a FREE refresher for wearing my amazing My Little Pony shirt with Northstar on it. Ugh I have so much homework to do, but Marc Maron is much more interesting right now.

FOOD! PICTURES! And Other Amazing things part 1

First and far most lets begin with the fact IM A SPOILED BRAT. :) and totally greatfull for it. Another amazing weekend with the Gentleman Friend and my old friend Paola! If anyone ever read the old blog you'll remember her from my Assisting days. Paola had a conference and crahsed at my place in between. It was so wonderful getting to see her again. On with my weekend of EATING!!

Thursday night when Paola came in on the train we went out for Chinese at the local Daiko. So good!! I had Honey Glazed BBQ Pork and Choy Sum over rice. HOLY COW!! Also I got Instagram... Ya Im turning into a phone whore. But look at the prettyness!! Anywho, Daiko is a wonderful SUPER Chinese resterant. They arnt super friendly to us white folks, but the food is amazing and fresh and cooked to order. I go there very rarely as I am a broke art student, and you cant go there for the service but the food it THAT GOOD. When going though th East bay Stop by.

Friday I went to work and after the co workers, GF, Paola and I all headed out for drinks and fun. The co-workers are a fun crowd! I like them a lot. D'wanna and Toure gave GF his official black card for his favorite movie being Pootie Tang. It was super fun and we got home way to late, as poor Paola had more seminar on Saturday and an early morning awaited.

Saturday after dropping Paola at BART I brought the sleeping GF some donuts and we headed out to the Redwood City BBQ and Blues Festival!!!! :D Ome it was SOOOOO GREAT! We ate so much food, watched whole pigs roasting on a spit, ate bacon hotdogs and enjoyed the sun. Also the music was quite delightful! Pictures!!!

The wrap was the best thing we ate of all the amazing food. it was a wonderful time with a wonderful man :) Afterwards we headed home and rented the new Sherlock Holmes movies and watched untill Paola got back.

Goat-centric

So this will be updated after I unload my actual camera, but here are goats only!!

No Time For Back Up!!

I dont know why I posted that except Ive always wanted a reason to scream it. So! Been crazy busy these days, finals are coming up, Gentleman Friend spoiling the crap out of me and work, Im not an idle girl! This last weekend sweet sweet GF and I headed up to my homeland. First stop was to see my sister, the lovely horse trainer and... eeeerrrr.... perfectionist. I had warned GF about her... sharpness? So he was plently prepared, and she was really lovely. We also got to see the taco eating pony Rubicon win a class! I didnt get a picture but GF could stand OVER Rubies and not touch him... So tall and so short... lol! But it was really nice to see Tess, we have been building up our relationship the last few years and actually acting like sisters.

Tess, Rubicon (Mr. Rubes) and Rider

Next we headed downtown and met up with Lawyer Rachel!! :D Also not mentioned, but before my move to Detroit, she put me up for about 6 months off and on. I lived on her lovely Murphy bed and played with kittens who are now cats. GF met her for the first time as well, and we watched baseball while taking football. I think they liked each other! She's one of he few people I really care about approval from. lol. But it was great, I need to get up to Sac more often. Also, Her kitty Spectro needs a home, her allergies are getting to much, so please message me if you want a really cute 2.5 year old kitty!!!

Around 2 we visited the STATE FAIR! I've not mentioned it here, but I used to show my pygmy goats out there years ago now, and have a sad nostalgia for it. I do realize its a total money sink, and it was HOT AS HELL. About 108 in Sactown, which means prolly  115 out on the blacktop of CalExpo. But we had a TON of fun! Funk.Defied was playing (their so hot!) and  we watched that show, and we saw the forestry center and got tiny Sugar Pines, ate FRIED SNICKERS and FRIED COOKIES DOUGH, visited the farm, pet sturgens, visited the goats, and spent a lot of time in the buildings with the air conditioning. I loved it so much!! We even got home about 9 or so.
