Angry Hate Filled Rant of DOOM

Izzy's mad again, watch out. So Im posting tonight from my good old reliable beast Ralph. So if Im missing any T's I appologize now.... What happened to the new laptop? Well, its been acting a little wonky then the other night it full out died. The hard drive failed and its toast. No worries, I backed up everything a few days before and ill take it to Best Buy and have them fix it, they did sell it to me only 4 months ago.So I take it over, apparently they only guarentee the hard drive for 90 days on that model, its been 120. Yep, one month after the warrenty expired. I called numbers, hollered, cried and everything for 2 hours.. they offered to mail me a $100 vouvher towards repairs in 7-10 buisiness days.... but I have to buy the supplies from them. Fuck you Best Buy.

So I went home and called ASUS who built the stupid thing, and a very nice lady helped me with some info, and i spoke to many people of varrying accents. BTW they tranfered me more times wih less holds the Best Buy, or should I say RAPE BUY. Asus agreed that they cant do anything over 90 days, so I told them I will be happy to spread the word that their computers only last 3 months, and they offered to look at it for free, hey cover the shipping and if I want them to fix it they will gaurantee it for another 90 days.... I asked what happens when in 120 days it fails again like it did this time and they dont have an answer. but ill take them up on their free inspection. since I don get my RAPE vouncher from Best Buy for 10 days anyways.

I also offered to speak to them in person, but they dont wan me to do that... Anyway the email me the info, and i tell them, I DON HAVE A COMPUTER... so she tells me all the codes and what not. I head to FedEx and... they cant search the codes on their system.. I have to use their computer- for $5 - and give it to them. So Im here at starbucks with Ralph retrieving codes and Blogging angrily.

On my hate list-
Best Buy- Geeksquad Certified means it WILL die in 4 months, we gaurentee that!
GeekSquad- We do whatever Best Buy tells us, right master?
FedEx- To retarded to pull heir own delivery codes. REALLY???
Asus- has the ability to work themselves off if we can work this out, aka you fix what you made.

I really did have a good week and weekend before all this... :( I'll post when Im in a better mood...

First Post from the new LAPTOP!!!

OMGOMGOMG its here!! My shiney new referbished ASUS, thats not shiney or new, but im smitten. Im at Panera instead of local coffee shop because it was closer to corporate computer store, you know, incase this puppy didnt fire up or they had snuck in Windows 8.... but all seems well!! :D so this computer is sooooo light! I cant believe it! Like 1/2 the weight!! Sorry, so excited...

Im attempting to download iTunes but untill then no picts as my phone gets all angry. But this week has been amazing!! Gentleman Friend took me on a grand adventure, which i will elaborate on next episode, as it requires pictures!!! Schools busy but good, and the kittens are behaving so far. Cooper is still Cooptacular, goofy as ever. I need to post Gerbil pictures.. its been way to long.

So I had said a few weeks ago that i wanted to loose weight and I havnt been very dedicated to it. Ive still been eating junk and not exercising, so today I took my first step towards ACTUALLY getting healthy. I downloaded from Sparkpeople how to go from couch potato to a half marathon in 8 weeks. Im gunna repost it here in hopes it inspired someone else :3

Decisions Made

Incase you all havnt realized.. I had trouble making decisions. but I finally bit the bullet and bought a new laptop... Poor Ralph my little guy Im typing on now is dying, a slow painful death. Im pretty broke so I hope I made a good choice. I think I over thought the whole thing, but I settled on an ASUS X401 I found SUPER cheap and in "Ocean Blue". and it has windows 7!! Which was a big selling point.. Windows 8 looks dreadful, and I would LOVE to jump on board with the Google Chrome guys but I need iTunes too much at this moment. Stupid free iphone and stupid super awesome ipod shuffle... lol!!

This weekend was very relaxed with Gentleman Friend. Mostly movies and lots and lots of Man, Woman, Wild... I did finally see the origional House on Haunted Hill which is delighful and creepy!! I liked it alot. No good St. Patties day stories this year as I got REALLY ill with some lady problems and spent the day passed out on GF's lap... again. but He's amazing and made me Ravioli's, lots of gatoraide and neck rubs.

Hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday!! just a short one today.

Adventures of a Traveling Lunatic

Hello all! Hope everyone is well! Today has been one of those days, like a scene from my old life, but a good day. Got up early and drove to Walnut Creek to see my old boss, friend, wife, and more Misty! Its literally been years, and with her now in Texas, ya. But she's been in town, and so we me up. We had a delighful coffee at a little shop i found on yelp that was just a store away from her first job! nice!! We talked about the kids (I miss my Beanie!!!!) and Nana and Papap, and pets and school and handsome Gentleman Friend. But alas we were both super busy and so then we were both off again. I went to meet a client, she went to meet a new Mary Kay Recruit, and life goes on. but maybe I'll do some flyer work for her. :) It was REALLY nice.

My new Desktop is on its way! I still dont have internet at home, but it will be perfect for school, and i got a GREAT deal, but damn its money spent. plus wed night i broke another bra, and was down to one so had to go essentials shopping... which is $$.... but needed.. but now poor little Ralph the Laptop is dying... uuuggghhhh.... Dont die Ralph!! :( I'll need something to interweb with so if he goes... I'll prolly buy a referbed eMachine, their inexspensive... I REALLY wanted a ChroneBook by Google, but they some run iTunes, which is a huge bummer because I use my little ipod ALL the time, and have the iPhone.

Sorry, first world problems!! This weekend is the Chinese New Year Parade, which i may or maynot go too if i decide to work or ditch.... its will be a bad sales day.... uuuggghhhhh!! lol! Again, first world problems! lol!! Its been beautiful and spring like here, then freezing, then beautiful. Come on nature make up your mind?  oh well, anywho here are some pictures of the city, my fork ring (I found it!) and more!!

So I dont own a scale, but I have been super good on my getting healthy plan, and can feel it! Im REALLY happy, and have been making recipes off of SparkRecipes.... Since Im loosing weight with SparkPeople (great apps too!!) So I'll share a REALLY good Tuna Salad Recipe.. omg so yummy nom nom nom

Best Tuna Salad-

1 can of tuna
2/3c non fat cottage cheese
4 tblsp non fat plain yogurt (I used greek cause I had it)
1/4 small red onion
1 stalk of celery
1 tsp Dijon mustard
splash of lemon juice
pinch of dill (i didnt add it cause im no a dill fan)

drain Tuna, mix it all together, add to bread!! Makes 2 servings. the mix is under 200 calories with no fat and 34 grams of protien!! Really filling and so tasty. :)
